Effective from December 1, 2023, citizens of China and India will enjoy visa-free entry to Malaysia for up to 30 days and is scheduled to end this privilege until December 31, 2024.
In this regard, Indian passport holders are required to ensure the fulfillment of the below criteria and provide supporting documents during the security and immigration screenings at the port of entry, as follows:
- The passport validity must be at least six (6) months;
- Confirmed Return Flight Tickets;
- Confirmed Hotel Booking;
- Proof of sufficient financial provisions;
- Compulsory online submission of the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) three (3) days before the arrival date.
- Travelers are required to present both a valid passport and a completed MDAC to border officers for validation before proceeding through the immigration counter.
